The Celestron Wedge for NexStar Evolution/SE transforms your fork-mounted Alt-Azimuth Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope into a solid equatorial platform for long exposure astrophotography.
Designed single fork-mounted NexStar Evolution SCTs between 6", 8" & 9.25" in diameter as well as the NexStar SE 6" & 8", the Celestron Wedge provides a heavy duty and stable solution with minimal vibration for astroimaging. With a latitude range between 0 - 70°, the Wedge can be used in a wide range of locations.
The sturdy yet portable design provides strength and stability while keeping the overall setup relatively lightweight. The wedge includes captive hardware for easy tool-less operation, even under heavy loads. The large diameter latitude adjustment screw features an easy to read scale and built-in bubble level.
