The Baader 345mm Vixen dovetail bar for C8 is designed for use with Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD telescopes.
All Baader dovetail bars have integrated, deepened marking lines over the whole length of the bar. They mark the exact center line of the bar, as well as the separation of the screw holes of Celestron telescopes and Astro-Physics mounting rings, so that you can easily drill the matching holes. This bar is pre-drilled with holes to match C8 & EdgeHD 8 tubes.
Only suitable for SC and HD OTAs with new round backplate. For Celestron OTAs with the old flat backplate please use the Baader V rail / dovetail bar 470mm for SC BA2451101.
