This adapter allows you to directly thread the ESATTO 2" LP onto the back of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes with 2"-SC threads such as the Celestron 8" & 9.25" SCT and EdgeHD 800. This adapter threads directly onto the rear 2"-SC thread of the telescope and doesn't add any optical thickness.
The ESATTO is the perfect solution for achieving precise focus and avoiding mirror flop and focus shift by leaving the mirror locked, if possible. Optical thickness is effectively zero.
Note: This is not compatible with the standard Esatto 2". It only works with the Esatto 2" LP Low Profile version.
