This adapter allows you to directly thread the ESATTO 2" onto the back of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes such as the Celestron 11" & 14" SCT and EdgeHD 925, 1100 & 1400 which have 3.3" SC threads. The ESATTO is the perfect solution for achieving precise focus and avoiding mirror flop and focus shift by leaving the mirror locked.
Since the ESATTO has a depth of 67mm and the 3.3” adapter has only 2mm of optical thickness, this leaves 77mm of backfocus for your camera and accessories when used together with the Celestron EdgeHD .7x focal reducers for 925, 1100 and 1400 models.
Note: This is not compatible with the Esatto 2" LP Low Profile version. It only works with the standard Esatto 2".
